Tunisia - Twinning between El Jem amphitheatre and Rome's Colosseum

The Ministry of Cultural Affairs has announced that Tunisia and Italy have signed a twinning agreement between Rome's Colosseo and the El Jem amphitheater.

The agreement was signed on the Tunisian side by Tarek Baccouche, General Manager of the INP, and on the Italian side by Alfonsina Russo, Director of the Colosseum Archaeological Park in Rome. The agreement aims to enhance the value of both sites, as part of the promotion of Roman archaeology.

The agreement was signed on the occasion of the visit of Italian Minister of Cultural Affairs Gennaro Sangiuliano.
