Monaco/Renewal of the humanitarian partnership between the Association Monégasque de l'Ordre de Malte and the Cardio-Thoracic Centre

Since this partnership was set up more than ten years ago, some twenty patients from underprivileged countries, mostly young people, have been treated for cardio-thoracic or vascular pathologies.

New commitment for the next three years. The Order of Malta's Monegasque Association and the Monaco Cardio-Thoracic Centre renewed their partnership on March 16. This is an important commitment for the Centre, which will continue to receive financial support from the Association: 30,000 euros per year. This sum will enable the Centre to carry out three to five surgical operations each year.

Since December 2011, this partnership has targeted patients from disadvantaged countries who cannot benefit from such surgeries in their home countries. The significant medical expertise available at the Center and the financial support of the Association work together to realize this humanitarian project.
