A baby and toy flea market will be held in the Cassiopée Hall on Sunday, November 8. About 40 of the 176 available spots are still open. Reservations can be made.

Exhibitors will offer bargain hunters all kinds of children’s items: clothing, toys, and baby care supplies. Admission is free, and this flea market takes place indoors, protecting everyone from inclement weather.

This morning event is organized by the Romania Commission of the Sister City Committee. It helps fund the commission’s activities. This summer, three young women from Macérien traveled to Ighisul Vechi, a village in the municipality of Bîrghis, with which our municipality is twinned. They helped lead a summer camp alongside young Romanians. This camp allowed young people from both our countries to get to know one another and build relationships. “Our committee hopes to be able to fund another trip for youth leaders next year,” explains Catherine Fournel, the chairwoman.

Sunday, November 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free admission. Salle Cassiopée, Rue de Texue. Tel. 06 59 08 36 92.
