France/Luzy and Emmelshausen Celebrate 40 Years of Twinning with a Time Capsule and Medals

Just one year after the celebration in Luzy marking the 40th anniversary of the town twinning, members of the two committees—the French and German ones—met in Emmelshausen, Germany, on the weekend of Sunday, August 30, during the traditional wine fair.

An anniversary celebrating a Franco-German friendship that endures with unwavering strength.

To mark the occasion, a time capsule was buried in the ground, followed by the planting of a ginkgo tree donated by the Luzy City Hall.
