Seven young people from Lindenfels spent a week in Moëlan-sur-Mer as part of the annual exchange program between the two towns. Upon their arrival at the Quimperlé train station on Monday, July 20, 2026, the students were met by committee members and then welcomed in Moëlan by their Breton exchange partners and host families.

They were welcomed at City Hall by Mayor Anaëlle Joliff before taking part in a full program of shared sports and cultural activities designed to help them get to know each other and explore the region: Franco-German doubles pétanque, kayaking down the Laïta River, an introduction to stand-up paddleboarding, a tree-top adventure course, a scavenger hunt in Pont-Aven, and a visit to the Ville Close in Concarneau. A barbecue brought together the young people, their families, and committee members at the end of the trip. The young people from Moëlan will set off in turn on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, and will be hosted in Lindenfels until August 6. “This is an annual exchange open to young people ages 12 to 17, with just one condition: hosting your exchange partner,” emphasizes the twinning committee, which will have a booth at the Moëlan associations fair on September 5.
