France

The middle school students spent a week in Modigliana at the end of April.

Late in the afternoon on Thursday, June 25, the middle-grade students at the Monbazillac school invited everyone...

They presented an exhibition featuring the places they visited, their travel journals, and photos to parents, elected officials, and members of the Monbazillac-Modigliana Twinning Committee, which initiated the project. Also in attendance were the donors to the online fundraiser, as well as the various winemakers and other partners who helped fund the project.

Remote exchanges as well

This trip, which the young people from Monbazillac will remember for a long time, was perfectly organized: an eighteen-hour bus ride in great comfort, the experience of group living, transalpine meals prepared by Vincent and Alain and their wives—who had left ahead of time to ensure everything was ready upon arrival—and a team of nine parent volunteers to supervise the group.

While waiting for the likely arrival of a class of young Italians in September 2027, the exchanges will continue online or by mail.
