Sherbrooke launches a call for projects for Domaine-Howard Park. The city wants to showcase the area's architectural, landscape and horticultural heritage.

Non-profit cultural or community organizations and artists with project ideas are invited to share them. Activities must be free of charge and take place in the park.

Projects can be one-off, i.e. taking place on a few occasions, or longer-term.

We're hoping to receive projects involving historical events, highlighting the greenhouses, the horticultural component, a part of the park that's sometimes forgotten, or artistic activities inspired by the site's heritage," points out Marie-Frédérique Tremblay, a professional agent with the City of Sherbrooke's culture division.

It doesn't have to be purely historical.

Proposals must be submitted by March 8. An online form is available on the city's website.

The city has a budget of $90,000 for all projects.
