Louis Beaugendre, the mayor of Saint-Méen, took the opportunity of the town's "Vœux" ceremony for residents and associations on Saturday January 24 to look back on the municipal term of office, which ends on March 15, and to express his wishes for the year 2026. "I wish you joy, happiness and, above all, good health. Health is freedom," he declared. The mayor then reviewed the major actions undertaken since 2020. These included the completion of the second phase of the Park al Lan housing estate, comprising ten houses, and the acquisition of the former sawmill. "It was obvious for the commune to retain control of this site," he recalled.
