France/What the people of Ceyrat can expect from the twinning committee in 2026

The English Twinning Committee and its president, Michel Passelaigue, met with members to discuss the year's achievements and the future of 2026.

Trip

Michel Passelaigue reported on the trip to England which saw 33 participants, including 11 young people, join our twin town of Great Waltham last July. The program organized by the English was very rich, including various visits to London and Saffron Walden.

Finances

Despite a deficit on the trip to England, the financial report shows a surplus of almost 1.000, thanks in particular to the theatrical evening on February 15, which yielded a handsome profit.

Membership

The membership fee remains at €15 per person.

Board

The five outgoing members of the Board of Directors - Chantal Forêt, Dominique Michel, Yvonne Pradeau, Michel Passelaigue and Frédéric Souvay - were unanimously re-elected. The office remains unchanged.

Projects

A new theatrical evening, performed by the Conte-ci Conte-ça troupe, will be organized on January 31, at La Griffe.

The visit of our English counterparts is scheduled for the last week of July. The committee will be taking part in the associations forum in September 2026 and the Christmas market.
