Morocco/CAN-2025: launch of the PRIS-AFCON program for prison inmates (DGAPR)

The Délégation générale à l'administration pénitentiaire et à la réinsertion (DGAPR - General Delegation for Prison Administration and Rehabilitation) has announced the launch of the PRIS-AFCON program for prison inmates, in the wake of activities launched to coincide with the Africa Cup of Nations soccer tournament (CAN Maroc-2025).

The program, which is in line with the strategic vision of strengthening the human and social dimension of prisons, involves the organization next Thursday of a mini football tournament bringing togethera soccer mini-tournament bringing together 150 African residents of 15 nationalities at the local Tamesna prison, which will host the program's opening and closing ceremonies, according to a DGAPR press release.
