Canada/Operation Red Nose returns to our regions
The Opération Nez rouge drive-home service will be back from November 28 to December 31 in Charlevoix, Trois-Pistoles, the Chaleur region, the Acadian Peninsula and Edmundston.
For the Edmundston campaign, donations will go to Soccer Edmundston. Former minister Madeleine Dubé will be this year's honorary president.
"It's a service that helps people. Last year, we gave 479 rides. We get people home safely. Even though it's a free service, people are generous. We never ask them for anything, but over the past three years, these people have contributed a total of $30,000 in donations," reveals Jean-Marie Boudreau, coordinator of Opération Nez rouge Edmundston.
