France/Rhône: construction of a business village in Bron-Caravelle to boost the local economy
The Lyon metropolitan area, in the Rhône department, is building a business village in Bron-Caravelle to develop local economic activity and create jobs.
In September 2026, Bron-Caravelle will be home to a 1,000 m² business village. This project, supported by the Lyon metropolitan authority, has been entrusted to the Société d'équipement et d'aménagement du Rhône et de Lyon (SERL Immo) following a call for tenders.aménagement du Rhône et de Lyon (SERL Immo) following a call for expressions of interest.
The future complex will comprise five business units, ranging in size from 180 to 250 m², together with a 15-space parking lot. The premises will be designed for the region's small and medium-sized businesses. The initiative aims to support the existing economic fabric, promote job creation and enhance the region's attractiveness to investors.
Designed to exacting environmental standards, the site will be extensively planted and equipped with photovoltaic panels covering 60% of the roof. Parking areas will be made permeable to facilitate rainwater infiltration. Finally, to blend harmoniously into its landscaped setting, the project will adopt a contemporary architectural style, using mainly materials produced in France.
