Côte d'Ivoire/ A network launches a series of workshops for quality education in Yamoussoukro
The Réseau ivoirien pour la promotion de l'éducation pour tous (RIP-EPT) launched a series of workshops in Yamoussoukro on Tuesday June 24, 2025, focusing on three key areas for the future of the Ivorian education system
These are the appropriation of the national strategy for inclusive education and the gender policy of the Ministry of National Education and Literacy (MENA), the sectoral pre-review and the structural strengthening of the network.
The sectoral pre-review, ahead of the 2025 joint review, aims to enable network members and civil society players involved in education to analyze the results achieved in 2024 in implementing the national policy for the sector.
The structural reinforcement component aims to consolidate the capacities of members, in particular for the amendment of by-laws and internal regulations, as well as for the elaboration of the draft gender policy specific to RIP-EPT.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Gnelou Paul, said the meeting was intended to be a civic gathering, bringing together institutional expertise and community dynamics around a shared vision of equitable, inclusive, gender-sensitive and resilient education.
He added that public policies can only reach their full potential if they are understood, appropriated and relayed by actors on the ground, notably civil society organizations.
