France/A little trip to Bideford for the Landivis twinning committee before the 50th anniversary in 2026

Some of the members of the Landivisian twinning committee with Bideford visited the UK at the end of May, to maintain ties and prepare for the future.

For Corize Viaud, president of the association, it's always a pleasure to get together. "We'll be celebrating our 50th anniversary in May 2026 in Landivisiau and in August in Bideford, and we just want it to last!"Clearly, the municipal welcome was warm, with performances by the pipe band, the men's choir and a quartet, and a tour organized to introduce Bretons to the maritime history of the English town.
