AUF-Amériques took part in the 30th edition of the International University Book Fair (Feria Internacional del Libro Universitario - FILU), organized by the University of Veracruzana in Xalapa, Mexico, from May 23 to June 1, 2025.

Founded in 1994 in Xalapa, FILU is today one of the major events on the Latin American publishing and university scene. It became an international event at the turn of the 2000s, bringing together over 500 university and independent publishing houses each year for some 400 editorial, academic, artistic and cultural activities. The 30th edition, under the theme "Living in the age of artificial intelligence: human relations, the environment and technologies", featured Canada and the United States.

In this context, the AUF was invited to take part in a conference entitled "Francophonie, communication and culture", co-hosted by Mme.co-hosted by Ms. Contreras Asturias, President of C2R-Americas' Mobility Commission. This presentation highlighted the AUF's actions to promote the French-speaking world in science, disseminate and circulate knowledge in French, and support digital transformations in higher education. In line with the priorities of the AUF's Strategy 2021-2025, she also emphasized the importance of promoting cultural diversity by fostering dialogue between French- and Spanish-speaking university communities.
