France/NOTE AUX COLLECTIVITÉS TERRITORIALES Launch of the Franco-Moroccan call for projects
The Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs is pleased to inform French local authorities of the publication of the call for Franco-Moroccan projects on the France Diplomatie website.
This call for proposals is aimed primarily at French and Moroccan local authorities and their associations, for the co-financing of projects as part of a decentralized cooperation partnership.
The Moroccan and French authorities will give priority to projects in line with the following nine strategic priorities:
1. Territorial governance and advanced regionalization
2. Combating water stress and sustainable management of water resources
3. Environmental protection, climate change resilience and natural hazard prevention
4. Local and regional economic development, entrepreneurship and regional attractiveness (including sustainable tourism)
5. Promotion of a sustainable transport and mobility system
6. Education, vocational training, youth and sport
7. Digital transformation and digitization of public services
8. Culture, heritage and crafts
9. Rural development and promotion of local products
Applications will be submitted online, via the Démarches Simplifiées application, from June 5, 2025. The call for projects will close on September 30, 2025. Rules and application documents are available on the France Diplomatie website.
