Canada/Aid financière de 17 000$ pour le CALACS de Charlevoix
The Minister of Justice, Simon Jolin-Barette, has awarded $17,561 to the Centre d'aide et de lutte contre les agressions à caractère sexuel (CALACS) de Charlevoix.
This amount will be used to create a customized tool that will make it easier and more accessible to understand the services offered to newly arrived women. This funding comes from the Victims of Crime Fund. It is part of the grants program designed to help victims of criminal offences.
"We are fortunate to have CALACS in our region. Its expertise is invaluable in providing services to women and girls aged 14 and over who have experienced sexual assault. This assistance will enable CALACS Charlevoix to be even more accessible and present for those who need it, when they need it most," acknowledges Charlevoix-Côte-de-BeaupréMNA Karianne Bourassa.
