France/Neure. A small, dynamic community with no shortage of projects
Neure. Neure, a dynamic little town. Jean-Claude Chamignon, mayor of Neure, and his municipal council presented their new year's greetings to an audience of sixty people (*).
At the start of 2024, the municipality of Neure inaugurated the renovation of its multi-purpose hall, carried out with the support of Moulins Communauté as part of the revitalization of the town center and village.
Thanks to a solidarity grant from the departmental council, the hall's parquet floor was sealed. This financial aid also enabled the restoration of the bread oven roof and the purchase of a book box.
A shaded square has been laid out in front of the multi-purpose hall, with parking, a petanque court, picnic tables, benches and sanitary facilities. The project received a 65% subsidy from the State, the Region, the Département and Moulins Communauté, with the remaining 35% financed by the municipal budget.
A 2-hectare plot of land was purchased from Safer Auvergne for future projects.
Last but not least, the Mairie presented a digital tablet to two pupils returning to the 6e school year.
Projects for 2025: in the first half of the year, shrubs will be planted, the lawn sown and the shaded square inaugurated.
The construction of two pavilions is scheduled for 2025/2026, subject to the receipt of subsidies.
A video protection system at the main crossroads in the village is being studied with the help of the gendarmerie.
As part of the departmental council's 350,000-tree planting program, a communal orchard is to be created next to the cemetery, and hedges and trees planted behind building plots.
Jean-Claude Chamignon also recalled the services available in Lurcy-Lévis, such as the Maison France Services set up by Moulins Communauté, the identity card service and, in the Mairie de Neure, a digital animator.
Before inviting the participants to share a glass of friendship, he expressed his gratitude to the financial partners, the gendarmerie and fire department services, community volunteers, municipal staff and elected representatives.
(*) Among the personalities present were : Departmental Councillors Joëlle Barland-Laporte and Christophe de Contenson; Moulins Communauté President and Moulins Mayor Pierre-André Périssol, mayors and representatives of surrounding communes, as well as representatives of the gendarmerie and fire department.
