Canada/Organization Assistance and Support Fund: Drummond RCM launches call for projects for 2024

Canada

The Drummond RCM invites non-profit organizations and cooperatives in its territory to submit projects to the Fonds d'aide et de soutien aux organismes (FASO).

These projects must help mobilize communities or improve living environments, whether socially, culturally, economically or environmentally. Assistance in the form of a grant may cover up to 50% of eligible project costs, to a maximum of $8,000.

The admissibility of a request and the amount granted, if applicable, are determined by an analysis committee according to established criteria and taking into account the objectives pursued by the organization. The organization must be active or offer services in more than one municipality within the Drummond RCM territory.

The FASO is financed by the Fonds régions et ruralité, a global envelope provided by the Quebec government to support MRCs in the exercise of various responsibilities related to local and regional development.

A detailed description of the FASO and the financial assistance application form are available at www.mrcdrummond.qc.ca/fonds-et-programmes. For further information, please contact Sophie Blanchette at 819 477-2230, ext. 105, or sblanchette@mrcdrummond.qc.ca. The application deadline is June1.
