Canada/ The Table immigration de la MRC de D'Autray launches a call for intercultural projects

The Immigration Table of the Regional County Municipality (RCM) of D'Autray has announced the launch of a call for projects to support initiatives that contribute to increasing the territory's inclusiveness, as part of the implementation of its immigration action plan.

This call for projects is an opportunity for municipalities, non-profit organizations, cooperatives, sole proprietorships, incorporated businesses and social economy enterprises in the MRC to propose initiatives that meet the following objectives:

  • Foster the attraction and civic integration of immigrants and ethno-cultural minorities.
  • Promote sustainable settlement and active civic participation in the community.

Eligible projects may include activities such as welcome and integration initiatives, cultural and intercultural events, training and awareness programs, among others.

Project funding can cover up to 100% of eligible expenses, to a maximum of $2,000 per activity. Eligible expenses include project-related salaries and fees, rental of premises and equipment, purchase of materials, promotional costs and communication tools.
