France/Castanet-Tolosan. Blood drive: a partnership for the future

As announced, the EFS (Établissement français du sang) blood drive, supported by the BDSCT (Bénévoles don du sang Castanet-Tolosan) association, was once again well attended at the latest blood drive at the Salle du Lac.

One hundred and forty people came for 124 samples. "But there were 9 new donors, with 10 appointments for plasma at the Maison du Donation in Toulouse. A very satisfactory result", confirms Françoise Sajus, president of the association (BDSCT). This group of volunteers takes care of the logistics to ensure the best possible preparation for the blood drive. The president is calling for future members to support the existing team. The day was also the first concrete act of partnership with Avenir Castanéen. Ramon Eguzkiza, club president, came to support the association. "The generous values of rugby and (blood!) donation go hand in hand," sums up the president, confirming that the next blood drive will take place on December 29.
