The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in the implementation of the Support Project for the Prevention of Conflict and Violent Extremism in the border areas of Benin, Burkina and Togo in the framework of strengthening cooperation between the Defense and Public Security Forces (FDS) and local populations, organized this Wednesday, March 02, 2022 a series of activities of public interest between the civilian populations and the Defense and Security Forces of the Commune of Tanguiéta
It was in the presence of the Mayor El Hadj Zakari BOUKARY, the Second Deputy Mayor Tchansi BIO SASSA, the District Chief of Tanguiéta Dr. Daniel K. N'OUENI, the Acting Secretary General of the Town Hall Bona FELIX KPEMAYOUA, the Heads of the Deconcentrated Services of the State in TanguiétaThe objective of the program is to improve the quality of life of the people of Tanguiéta.
The objective of the program is to contribute to the improvement of the resilience of the populations of the border areas in the face of community conflicts and violent extremism through the strengthening of cooperation between the Defense and Security Forces and the populations.
Several activities were included in the menu of this day, firstly the cleanliness campaign organized in the city hospital, followed by the public conference on the subject.This was followed by a public conference for the benefit of the population held at the Youth and Leisure Center of Tanguiéta by the Defense and Public Security Forces on the theme : ROLES AND MISSIONS OF THE DEFENSE AND SECURITY FORCES.
Two mixed teams composed of defense and public security forces and the population faced each other through a soccer match that took place on the facilities of the municipal stadium. At the end of the match, the Mayor of the Commune El Zakari BOUKARY and the Project managers led by Mr. SOSSOU Flavien thanked the different parties for their commitment and their active participation in the activities of this day.bc
