France/Stade niçois and the academy of Nice sign a unique partnership in France
The Stade Niçois and the Nice Academy signed a unique partnership in France on Thursday to help young high school students from Nice to reach the top level of rugby.
The rector of the Nice Academy, Richard Laganier, Régis Brandinelli, president of Stade Niçois, and Patric Prévost, president of the Stade Niçois, signed the partnership agreement for the rugby sports excellence program for young high school students who are members of the Elite Youth teams.
Bringing out talent... without forgetting their studies!
Thanks to this partnership, the young people from the Côte d'Azur will benefit from priority schooling and accommodation in boarding schools in Nice. For the first time, this model will enable teenagers to follow a high-level sports career while studying in the appropriate programs.
Five Nice residents in the Top 100 French youths
The two categories Cadets and Juniors are concerned. The Stade Niçois Cadets are playing at the elite level this season and five young people from Nice are in the top 100 French young players born after 2004.
