In collaboration with Germany, ENA Tunis has developed a range of training courses on good governance. These courses, which cover a number of areas, are designed to improve the practice of democracy in the North African country.

On Monday December 18, the Tunisian Ministry of Health, the Ecole Nationale d'Administration (ENA) in Tunis and the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment signed a cooperation and partnership agreement to open a curriculum in the field of governance. The program includes a series of training courses on good governance, food safety and consumer health protection.

Training courses will be organized for representatives of the public and private sectors and civil society, with the aim of improving the performance of public structures and opening up to the private sector and civil society in order to build visions, proposals and projects for change as part of a participative approach.

The signing of this agreement follows on from the framework agreement between the Ministry of Health and the German party. The aim of this agreement is to help the Tunisian institution strengthen its governance capacities and guarantee better consumer health protection in Tunisia.

The training courses will be implemented by ENA. Thanks to German cooperation, the school now houses an international academy for good governance, responsible for organizing continuing education sessions, short-term training sessions, study trips, conferences and workshops to promote good governance practices.
