Ulrike Huet, Regional President, leads a network of 40 twinning committees with over 2,000 members: Our team is committed to helping you exchange ideas, learn from each other and create synergies. Our team is committed to helping you exchange ideas, learn from each other, create synergies, organize meetings and mobility for young and old from France and Germany, organize cultural and festive events, perpetuate and strengthen Franco-German friendship, and build a people's Europe.
A number of organizations took part in the discussions. Marc Boutruche, mayor of Quéven, who was invited to the meeting, listened to the various situations and then spoke about the twinning of Quéven by the Afam association (Association franco-allemande du Morbihan): I don't know what to do, or what to expect from Quéven. For me, a twinning should be sporting, cultural and economic. The 2019 twinning was a highlight with intergenerational exchanges; the young people were supervised by two organizers. Twinning isn't just about festivities, it's above all about projects between friends, involving development and sharing, which also has an educational dimension.
