A partnership agreement has been signed to enable the development of associative projects eligible under the European Leader program.

On Friday August 30, Sébastien Gourdel, vice-president of the Pôle d'équilibre territorial et rural (PETR) du pays d'Argentan d'Auge et d'Ouche (P2AO) and chairman of the Leader programming committee (linking actions for the development of the rural economy).veloppement de l'économie rurale), received Fabrice Radigue, director, acting on behalf of Créavenir-Crédit Mutuel association president Jean-Luc Bigarré, to sign a new partnership agreement.

This partnership will support the development of associative projects eligible under the European Leader 2023-2027 program, which is managed by PETR P2AO.

An annual budget of €28,000

A budget of €1,518,703 has been allocated by the Region. This envelope will support the development of new local projects of an experimental nature, bringing added environmental, economic and social value to the territory of 127 communes. Both public and private project developers are eligible.

For this new generation of projects, we have identified several targets for action: support for the structuring of local economic sectors, entrepreneurship, sustainable mobility, services to the population (early childhood, culture, leisure, sports), revitalization of town centers, actions to develop the tourism offer.

Associations eligible for the Leader program can benefit from support from the Créavenir-Crédit Mutuel association, thanks to a renewed partnership with P2AO. Créavenir's financial support consists of a grant coupled with a zero interest rate, up to a maximum of €6,000 per project (one-third grant and two-thirds honor loan).

For the duration of the program, Créavenir has set aside an annual budget of €28,000 for P2AO. 7,000 € in subsidies, 20,000 € in 0% honor loans, 1,000 € in the form of a grant, for communication actions in the P2AO territory. Créavenir's support is invaluable for associations that need to have the cash advance they need to acquire the investments they need to implement their projects. This is all the more important in a context where grants are paid on the basis of receipted invoices and, in the case of Leader, on proof of payment of other public financial contributions.

P2AO comprises three communities of communes: Terres d'Argentan interco, Vallées d'Auge et du Merlerault, Pays de L'Aigle.
