France/Cloyes-les-Trois-Rivières. Twinning in Germany at Ascension
Cloyes les Trois Rivières. The Cloysians will go to their German friends at the Ascension. The twinning committee of Cloyes-les-Trois-Rivières held its general assembly on Friday at the Michel-Blais room.
The president, Simone Cousin, has launched an appeal for new members. The pandemic has had an impact on the association's membership, which has dropped by 30% in the last three years.
The committee is already looking forward to the new exchange with their German friends from Hatzfeld. The Cloysians will travel to Germany from May 18 to 21, during the Ascension weekend: a trip of 800 km one way and as much on the return. Registrations can be made through the committee's mailbox: rogerco@wanadoo.fr.
The photos and memories of this stay in the state of Hesse will be presented during the exhibition planned at the house of tourism during the first quarter of 2024. This exhibition will also include a large retrospective of the history of the committee since its creation and of all the exchanges. A great opportunity to recall great memories.
