La Maison du Père-Nolille is a 100% Lille-based podcast Advent calendar, celebrating its fifth anniversary this year. Every day until December 24, a new episode will spotlight a local entrepreneur, craftsman or shopkeeper, through an immersive and warm format, like an audio Christmas tale.

Born during the health crisis

Launched in 2020 as a gesture of solidarity to support small businesses during the health crisis, today the project is a complete communication device, combining podcast, Instagram and festive launch party, with an unchanged ambition: to support the local economy during the festive season. With over 30,000 listens a year, this independent project born five years ago has established itself as an original holiday event in Lille.

Until December 24 on all platforms

Created, produced and hosted by Lille-based entrepreneur and podcaster Elise Bultez, La Maison du PèreNolille is a project financed without sponsors or subsidies, and supported by the participants themselves. Over the years, the project has become a real springboard for visibility for local brands, who benefit from immersive audio content, a spotlight on Instagram, and a strong link with the Lille community. The episodes, which began airing on Monday December 1, will run until December 24 on the following platforms: Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Deezer or via Instagram: @lamaisonduperenolille

Seven minutes of listening and a surprise

" Every day, an elfin shopkeeper will tell you their story, their know-how and even reserve a surprise for you ", says the founder. The first episode went online on Monday. It lasts around seven minutes and introduces Mon empreinte à cookie, a couple from Lille who make personalized 3D-printed cookie cutters. It's a lovely initiative that won't cost you a thing, and where you can even win prizes.
