Angola/Opening of the Benguela International Fair

The 10th edition of the Benguela International Fair (FIB) opened on Thursday (29), at the Ombaka National Stadium, during a ceremony presided over by the governor of Benguela province, Luís Nunes.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Luís Nunes urged the exhibitors to be aware of the challenges of the moment, which are to make the economy more competitive in the province.

During his speech, the government official also stated that the objective is to create more commercial opportunities and new jobs.

At the fair, domestic products such as food, beverages, clothing, civil construction, fishing, agriculture, civil construction and car show are exhibited.
According to the organization, at least 150 temporary direct jobs have been created, in addition to others under the responsibility of exhibitors.
