"Tonight, we welcome the 40 Germans who have come to Quéven as part of the Amitié Kewenn-BAW twinning (Burgunstadt, Altenkunstadt and Weismain), and who are staying with nine Quéven families. We are also celebrating the 20th anniversary of the signing of the charter between Quéven and the towns of Altenkunstadt and Weismain. The town of Burgunstadt later joined the twinning," explains Brigitte Nicaud.

The buffet was hosted by the municipality, and featured the Trouzerion ZinZac musicians, the Cercle Brizeux from Lorient, who presented their costumes and dances, and the local Spered Kewenn association, who played their repertoire.

Céline Olivier, representing the municipality, was delighted with this exchange, which forms part of the twinning program. We now have a dynamic association that strengthens the partnership between Quéven and the three German towns. We are gathered here because we share common values: a passion for the culture and history of our regions, and a desire to build a better future together at a time when, unfortunately, everything is so fractured. To ensure that these exchanges continue, it's our duty to pass on these values to young people.
