France/Sèvremoine. The twinning committee will go to Portugal at the end of April
Friday evening, in the Prosper-Amiot room of Le Longeron, Michel Fortin, president of the twinning committee, led the general assembly. After an assessment of the past year, a return to the fundamentals is announced.
The association, with about fifty members, wishes to give a new impulse to the Franco-Portuguese exchange. About twenty of them will be on the trip, from Saturday, April 29 to Tuesday, May 2, in Unhais de Serra, a municipality of Covilhã, in the mountains of the Castelo Branco district, in the center of the country. There are two places left. A project is still to offer a truck to the Lusitanian firemen, a solidarity approach orchestrated by Pacôme Râteau, a fireman from Longueuil. Because over there, the interventions require machines adapted to the relief.
