France-Canada/Cooperation Nouvelle-Aquitaine - Québec 2022-2024
The new roadmap between the Region and the Delegation General of Quebec is reflected in the support of projects between the two territories. Associations, companies, public institutions or local authorities can participate in this cooperation program.
Mobility and Francophonie
On Monday, June 13, 2022, Alain Rousset, President of the Regional Council of New Aquitaine and Michèle Boisvert, Delegate General of Quebec in Paris, signed the new roadmap of cooperation between the two territories.
The Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region and the Province of Quebec have been cooperating for 23 years in a spirit of bringing the two territories closer together, encouraging the mobility of young people and professionals. Quebec represents a French-speaking gateway to North America and also an essential partner in key sectors such as aeronautics, wood, new technologies and higher education.
The Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region and Quebec are thus participating in the promotion of the French-speaking world, through a strong and dynamic relationship based on a shared history and language.

The environment at the heart of the priorities
The themes of the 2022-2024 roadmap are slightly different from those of previous years, with actions focused on issues related to the fight against and adaptation to climate change and the protection of biodiversity as well as around the "One Health " approach.

- Promote commercial and technological exchanges in the fields of excellence of both territories
- Promoteinternationalization and meetings between companies and ecosystems
- Higher education and research
- Initiate, pursue and deepen cooperation between the universities of New France and Quebec
- Promote the development of e-mobility and co-diplomation projects
- Promote exchanges in the area ofpedagogical innovation
- Youth
- Promote international mobility and mobility outside of training courses in partnership with theOffice franco-québécois pour la jeunesse
- Develop the transfer of know-how with education and youth professionals, particularly in the field of sports
- To exchange best practices in terms of animation of a policy of participative democracy and exchange with the youth
- To encourage the creation and expression of youth, notably through Francophone artistic and cultural projects such as the annual event Le Nouveau Festival
- Promote exchanges on the themes ofprofessional orientation as well as school perseverance (dropping out).
- Culture and Francophonie
- Promote exchanges between cultural professionals and artists in the fields of books, comics, cinema, live shows, contemporary music, heritage and digital arts
- Encourage the exchange of startups between incubators linked to the creative and cultural industries
- Strengthen cooperation projects in favor of an active and inclusive Francophonie.
- SSE and circular economy
- Promote projects of integration through economic activity and develop exchanges on the different modes of social integration
- Develop collaborations around the link between culture/digital/social and solidarity economy
- Promote the circular economy in the framework of recyclingprojects
- To be informed of the holding of important SSE events on both sides and to promote the participation of the various Franco-Quebec actors
