Between September 22 and 28, they visited the famous Tuscan towns of Siena, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Florence, and Gaeta, in the province of Latina on the Tyrrhenian coast.
"It's my twinning heart!" exclaims Rosemonde Artasone, still delighted with this latest trip to Italy. "My great-grandfather, Gaetan Monte, was born in Gaeta.adds the woman who took over the presidency of the Frontignan/Gaeta twinning committee from her brother Alain Artasone, and has been a member for 18 years to date. Created in 1997 by Paul Gonthier Maurin, the committee continues to expand its cultural exchanges in a wide variety of forms. The mayor of Frontignan, Michel Arrrouy, was received by his counterpart Christian Leccese and was also able to take part in the festivities of Saint-Damien and Saint-Côme.
Back on French soil, the committee is organizing a completely different but very tasty outing this Sunday, December 7. A culinary expedition to Chez Marty.
